UN-Global-CompactDover Vantage signed up to the UN Global Compact in September 2011 as a direct corporate commitment to ethical practices across the entire Dover Group activities. The Global Compact is a strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption. It is the largest voluntary corporate initiative in the world and offers the development, implementation and disclosure of sustainability policies and practices.

By signing the Global compact Dover Vantage publicly recognizes the business value of operating in an ethical, environmental and socially responsible manner, and the company will strive to actively contribute towards the creation of a more sustainable society.

Principle 1 – We actively support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights.
Principle 2 – We make sure that we are not complicit in human rights abuses.
Principle 3 – We uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.
Principle 4 – We advocate the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour.
Principle 5 – We advocate the effective abolition of child labour.
Principle 6 – We advocate the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
Principle 7 – We support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges.
Principle 8 – We undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility.
Principle 9 – We encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
Principle 10 – We work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
